Hot Puppies  - Green Eyeliner (Fierce Panda)
Now decamped to Cardiff from Aberystwyth, the female fronted Puppies re-issue their poptastic single about boy meets girl and the place makeup plays in the man-catching process. A Catchy tune with cheap organ sounds not a million miles away from a Welsh B52S. Sadly the last 7” vinyl single Fierce Panda will release. Lets hope they change their minds.. 

The View - Wasted Little DJs (1965)
Glasgow buzz band The View’s debut single jumps out the speakers like a bull at a gate. Set to be the new Libertines, its fairly trad indie guitar pop which the teenagers will lap up. Reckon this nice pink 7” could be worth a few bob shortly...

Polytechnic  - Pep (Transgressive)
Hailing from Manchester, the Poly chaps sound a bit too like Clap Your Hand and Say Yeah for comfort. Nice enough tune but the wining vocal grates with further plays. Maybe Transgressive have lost their golden touch?
